Hyundai Nishat Motor has increased the Hyundai Palisade Hybrid Price for both variants after the new sales tax regime came into effect. The Palisade Hybrid Smart jumped from Rs. 20,999,000 to Rs. 23,164,527, an increase of Rs. 2,165,527. The Palisade Hybrid Calligraphy rose from Rs. 22,999,000 to Rs. 25,263,074, up by Rs. 2,264,074.
So why is the tax bracket important?
The details are here. The revised tax circular changes in 2000 to ensure that locally built hybrids up to 2,000cc have an 18% sales tax. All amounts higher will go into the 25% bucket. Locally built, the Palisade is powered by a 2.5-litre hybrid powertrain, positioning it in the higher tax brackets.
