Electric scooters for women are now being distributed across Sindh under the provincial government’s Pink Electric Scooty programme. At a Mirpurkhas event, Sindh Senior Minister Sharjeel Inam Memon said the government wants to eventually provide EV scooters to 50,000 women who obtain driving licences.
Electric Scooters for Women: What Was Announced?

50,000 Electric Scooters for Women Target
The program is still a work in progress. In that first phase, 925 scooters were allocated, and in the second, 476 scooters were allocated, according to the minister. By early August, over 810 had been distributed for free by late August.
